About De Vinci's Delicatessen

De Vinci’s Delicatessen & Catering located at the busy intersection of Thornton Road and Hammer Lane is our second Stockton location. Since we opened in 2006, we have been serving the families of North Stockton and surrounding areas our “famous ravioli and meat sauce” and other delicious Italian dishes. We are open for dine-in or take-out seven days a week. Customers may enjoy outdoor dining in our front patio area. We serve a variety of pasta dishes, rosemary baked chicken, salads, desserts, deli sandwiches and daily specials. Our foccacia bread is baked fresh several times a day. We decided to grab dinner here after hearing a few good things, and it ended up being a really nice choice. The pasta had great flavor without feeling too heavy, and the garlic bread disappeared way faster than I expected. Our server was friendly, checked in just enough, and never made us feel rushed. It wasn't a perfect meal, but honestly that's pretty normal anywhere. The place had a warm, relaxed vibe that made it easy to enjoy the evening. I'd definitely come back to try a pizza next time since the ones going to other tables looked really good.

The young man at the front delivered exceptional, friendly service and was so kind to my son and I. My son didn’t know what cut of chicken he wanted and the young man even went out of his way to offer to show him the different pieces. I wish I had gotten his name. He was working the front at about 7:30 PM 05/25. He definitely made our experience the best! My son left with me asking why we don’t come often. 10/10 stars!

I just paid 6 dollars for a salad made up of brown lettuce, clear tomatoes and canned beans. Yall should be absolutely ashamed. My husband and I use to come here 3 times a week for.lunch during our work week but never again. I will never and could never give this place anymore of my hard earned money. So sad.

I rarely come here, but when I do I go through the drive up window. Me and my son went there one evening and went inside. It was very hot in there and the hot plate area was very dirty. My gutt was telling me to leave but I was hungry. My son opt out getting anything. I ordered a small salad, a small pesto pasta, and half loaf of bread. I came home and had some of the food on a plate no issue. My son begins eating the rest of the pesto pasta and seen a LONG BLACK HAIR hanging from his pasta he was about to consume. Yeah wont EVER be back at this dirty spot. I will continue to ONLY go to the Pershing location.

There’s something strange about the corner in Stockton. Not eerie—no. But... magnetic. Like some hidden force tugging at your hunger, whispering ancient cravings from beneath the cracked sidewalks and flickering streetlights. That force? It's De Vinci’s Delicatessen. And it doesn’t just feed you—it possesses you. I stepped through their modest entrance on a sunlit afternoon, the door chime echoing like a bell in a forgotten church. The scent hit me first—fresh bread, warm herbs, garlic, and that ever-so-faint, seductive promise of slow-roasted miracles. My order was simple, or so I thought: the legendary Tri-Tip sandwich on their homemade focaccia bread. Now let me tell you—this wasn’t bread. It was a relic. Thick but soft, crispy edges brushed with oil, speckled with rosemary like some ancient script written by a hungry demigod. The Tri-Tip was piled on like a sacrificial offering—tender, perfectly charred on the edges, the smoky flavor locked in like a spell. And the minestrone? My God. It didn’t come in a bowl—it arrived in a portal. Each spoonful took me somewhere else. Cannellini beans like smooth river stones. Zucchini, tomato, onion—each vegetable so fresh it felt like it
